Growing up in Mississippi, I had the unique privilege of working in the family businesses. At a very early age, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Saviour. During my high school years, God began working in my heart about serving Him in ministry work.
Upon graduating high school, I moved north and enrolled into Bible college located in the Chicagoland area. I graduated college with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pastoral Theology, Counceling Certificate, Master of Practical Theology, and Master of Education with an emphasis in School Administration.
Soon after college, I was introduced by way of Instagram to a kindergarten teacher, Elizabeth, who was teaching in a Christian school 450 miles away. One week later, I drove to meet her for the first time as well as have our first official date. We began dating long distance for many months while visiting her every school holiday. Upon completion of the school year, Elizabeth moved back to the Chicagoland area where she lived at home with her parents. That summer we were engaged and soon married. My wife and I currently live and work in the Chicagoland area where we are active volunteers in our local church and community.
